Mark 10:1 Then Jesus left that place and went into the region of Judea, beyond the Jordan. Again the crowds came to Him and He taught them, as was His custom.
We read about Jesus and his teaching of the people as his custom was. This was no new thing, he did it often and was known for that. Men are creatures of habit. In fact, we are more habitual than we might think. We are unconsciously guided by routines: rising, bed time, meal times, work, reading, prayer and so forth. Every activity in our life has been so meticulously placed within a set of habits.
Whatever outcomes then we have, are influenced by the type and quality of our habits. Our financial habits: how you save, spend, invest and even give, when aggregated determine the quality of our financial wellbeing: Likewise, our spiritual habits : our prayer, word study, fellowship and adherence to spiritual principles : determines the trajectory of our spiritual growth. Even your personal habits: speech, your listening, your attitude, interaction and engagement with others determine the quality of your personal life.
You are always more likely to do what you always do, than start something new. Therefore, do not ignore the contributions of both your small and ‘big’ habits. The quality of your life will be a sum of those habits.
