DAY 120

Throughout our walk in life, the consequences of the choices we make, whether those choices are made consciously, with knowledge or even in ignorance, will manifest. This is because every choice has an inherent after effect already inherent within it. Some are positive and others, negative. This accounts for the reason why many may seem to take forever to arrive at decisions, often because they want to play out every logical scenario in their head before making up their mind.
While this can be good, in the walk of faith, it can become a challenge. There will be many moments where one takes a step without a full scope of the rest of the journey. Yet, on the basis of “the evidence of things unseen”, forward movement can be made. What is termed ‘the foolishness of faith’, is actually an acknowledgement of trust and dependence.
As you read this, you probably have never met Jesus in person, and all you may have to go off are His words, the stories you have heard about Him and his life, the eye witness testimonies littered in scripture or your experiential encounters following your press into God. The sum of these, are meant to give you a conviction, an understanding of His very nature.
Sometimes, things look so grim that you need some truths to pull through, here is one: “A relationship with Jesus cannot make you worse”. So while things may not look up, you can be certain that relationship is something more than gold. If you have it, hold on to it, if you don’t, I invite you to build one. He is waiting, arms open wide.
