WHO IS YOUR SOURCE?

DAY 116/366

Matthew 13:54 When he came to his hometown, he taught the people in their synagogue. They were surprised and said, “Where did he get this wisdom? Where did he get the power to work miracles?

Of course those who see the results you have won’t have seen the sweat and tears, the hardwork or the price you paid to get them. Yet, they will wonder about it’s origins. From the results you have, they will begin to map out possible pathways and propose reasons for how you got them:
“Who do you know?
What connections do you have?
Where have you been?”

Many will keep guessing because their ultimate search is for the answer “who or what is your source?”

For us who have been witnesses of the goodness of God, for us who have been made by Him, for us who are the pots moulded on the turntable of the master potter, this is our answer “we carry this treasure in vessels of clay, that the glory may be unto the Lord”.

We will always point everyone who wants to celebrate our results to the one who sits at the beginning of it all: ‘the Emperor of the Universe, and Master of the same. The author of life and the maker of men, the most High who is the source and sustainer of all things.”  That is where all we are, all we have, and all we could ever be, flow from.
