DAY 67/366

John 4:46 Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum.
Jesus returned to Cana, the site of his first miracle of turning water to wine. What a moment it would have been should he have been required to perform the very same miracle. But as we read, this time, it was to save a young lad near death, a very different scenario from what he had dealt with at the same location before.
What if Jesus was to turn round and say ‘ you’re on your own here, I don’t know how to help this time. What a disappointment that would have been. However, Jesus had returned knowing more, having built up stature, influence and power. So beloved, you also pursue growth.
- You have to evolve because so will the challenges you face in life,
- You can’t refuse to grow because the giants you will encounter will not stay the same size when you next meet them,
- You have to dig deeper because your roots will need draw from depths of wells in God that never dry out.
Therefore, refuse to stay small, and pursue growth across all spheres of life. There is too much enroute to meet you unprepared, you’ll lose much and so will the beneficiaries of your growth.
