DAY 8/366

These words today are reassurances that come at the start of the new year. I pray they inspire confidence to keep trusting God.
“My dearest, my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not yours. In fact, there is a wide gap between what you think and what I think, between what you expect, and what I actually desire. There is a gap between what you want me to do for you, and what I want to do for, with, and through you.
So you can be assured that I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Oh rest assured, what I see and from the perspective I see, is far beyond what you do. You may not know all of those thoughts, or even the purposes behind the words I send your way, but my thoughts towards you have always been good.
I have always had your interest at heart and continue to do so, moving you towards that expected end. It may not always look like it, but just know that it’s all in progress.”
