DAY 335

Luke 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
The sons of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12:32a were described as ‘men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do’. Almost as though they could pick on the direction of the wind and ride it as an advantage.
In fact, it a sharpened discernment is a feature of spiritual maturity because ‘But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Heb 5:14). In the current times, you cannot afford to live without discerning. It is a big risk.
You will repeatedly wander into danger, you will miss many open doors because you can’t tell what God is doing even in your own life and your relationships with others will be shallow. It might be discerning when best to speak or not, who to approach or not, who to embrace or stay away from.
A combination of those choices under the leading of the Holy Spirit is what preserves and lifts men. Keep discerning.
