MINI BITES

“Can you be frugal without being stingy or can you be generous without being reckless?”

There is always a very narrow grey area between any two extremes. Balance is therefore the key to keeping one from being swayed to either extreme.

“The bus called life does not stop for you to take a break.”

You do not have the luxury of just bidding time while you dust yourself off. Life keeps moving on. So if you’re going to keep complaining and lamenting, know that inspite of your lamentations, life has already set off with or without you.

If we each live properly, we will collectively flourish

There can be a tendency to see everyone as competition and so we may end up in a situation where our interest shifts towards sabotage. If we don’t win, no one else can. We ought to rise above competitive jealousy because mind you, everyone is running a race of their own according to specific timelines. It will be immature to think everyone is racing against you.

“Make good decisions and live right with a clear conscience”

One thing I heard recently that left an impression on me was this ‘When you live right, you enjoy your memories, so don’t just make decisions, study consequences.
