DAY 292

Luke 11:52 Woe to you lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge; you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”
As far as doors are concerned, keys can serve only one of two purposes: lock people out or grant them access. Jesus is the key to salvation, in fact he is also the door for salvation because outside of him, ‘there is no name given under heaven among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
The reason Jesus comes down hard on the lawyers for restricting access to knowledge is because in any kingdom, including the Kingdom of God, rising is directly proportional to the amount of light or knowledge one has. The less you know, the more disadvantage you are. The reverse is true where knowledge can become boosters for your rising.
It thus brings some clarity to the words of Saint Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:4 ‘in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
There is something an experiential knowledge of the son of God does to you and for you. Beyond salvation, it offers the opportunity to be in the school of Spirit and the class of the Word where transformation and renewal of mind take place. Those are the seeds required for rising.
Let’s remember these words “
Being wise is better than being strong; yes, knowledge is more important than strength” (Proverbs 24:5)
