THE MINISTRY OF MEN 101

Luke 7:3-5 The centurion heard of Jesus and sent some elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and heal his servant. When they came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with him, “This man deserves to have you do this, because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue.”

Men are placed in strategic places with differing levels of influence and access. Thus, one needs to understand how to this ministry of men to become beneficiaries of that stand of influence. This is not about forcing the hands of others, it is about the strand of influence that compels men to plead your case, perhaps, even more persuasively than you ever could.

Joseph had no access to Pharoah, but interpreting the butler’s dream bought his ticket to the palace. Likewise, the reason the centurion’s concern reached the ears of Jesus was because he had met a need of the Jewish Community hence, they deemed him worthy to headline the presentation of his case to Jesus.

You don’t always need to have the ability to do something. In fact, you will not have the knowhow and ability to do everything. However, there are others who will know how to, or those with access to such men. Presenting yourself valuable to these men can usher you into the sphere of those who can influence some matters.

So don’t lose your value at anytime, you don’t know who stands in the courts of the king.
