DAY 257
Proverbs 20:4 The lazy man does not plow when the winter [planting] season arrives; So he begs at the [next] harvest and has nothing [to reap].
It can be amazing how many people journey through life expecting things to simply happen for them, and to them. They are oblivious of the fact that there are times when you have to make things work for you. In essence, you also have responsibilities towards your life.
Beyond the realm of “all things working together for your good”, there is always a dimension of alignment and responsibility required. Many are often too aloof to pay attention to the work, effort and sacrifice component required in the discovery and fulfilment of purpose.
Even though it is God who gives the increase, by all means you have to sow. You cannot expect a harvest otherwise.
Crossing your arms and expecting everything to fall into your laps is a dream that will leave you disappointed.
