FIND YOUR PURPOSE

DAY 249

Luke 4:42 Now when it was day, He departed and went into a deserted place. And the crowd sought Him and came to Him, and tried to keep Him from leaving them;

Often, when it appears messages go on and on about “Finding, Knowing, Living and Fulfilling your purpose or and the reason for your existence, it isn’t to bore you with long talk. It is to draw your mind to the special position of advantage that knowledge of purpose gives you.

The first is ‘assurance and insurance‘. A man who is walking in purpose possesses an unusual level of boldness that others might not understand. This is because they operate from a revelation that there is  a power that backs their pursuit. That is assurance. A man walking in purpose also walks in alignment and for that, GOD is committed to their cause. That is insurance.

The second is, ‘if you don’t know your purpose, men will find one for you’. The crowd sought to restrain Jesus from pressing further because he was valuable. They sought Him out and they wanted to keep him for themselves. It was Jesus’ knowledge of His purpose that broke Him free from the grip of this crowd. Otherwise, He would simply have pitched tent and stayed put.

So find your purpose and start walking in it, otherwise, men will find one for you.
