REFLECTING ON DECISIONS

DAY 246

A question I would want you to also ponder on came to mind: “Have you thought about what the trajectory of your life would look like had you made different decisions a decade ago?”

This is not a consideration of the small things like what to eat or wear,  even though these matter, I am referring to the ones with life changing or even destiny altering potential: studying a particular programme, Relocating, Changing jobs or careers, making up your mind to stand for and with God making or breaking specific alliances?

Our lives are in summary, an aggregate of our decisions and choices. As much we would like to hold on to the ‘external influences’ card, and sometimes hang responsibility on the shoulders of others, we have an even bigger parts.

You many be unable to tell the trajectory of your life looking through the lens of decisions never made over the years gone by, but with certainty, you would not be where you are now. For me, it has taken a walk with the God who knows the entire length of the journey to arrive where I am now.

This should be the non-negotiable feature in all our stories: that with and through our decisions, Jesus is revealed and Jesus is glorified.
