THE LORD IS WITH YOU

DAY 240

Jeremiah 1:19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

Jeremiah was ordained a weapon against the whole land, against it’s  kings, princes, priests and people. In effect, he was pitted against nations, authorities, systems, cultures and men. These are mountains that will not simply stand back and be toppled  by one man’s adventure.

• Do you think your rising to gain fame, power and influence has been unimpeded?
• Do you believe that your journey through life, unscathed so far, is proof solely of your hardwork and determination? Or
• Do you reason that your survival of the fiery darts thrown your way is because you got lucky?

It will be a big miscalculation on your part to think that all the forces of darkness will sit back with their arms crossed and cheer you on as you grow in stature and favour with God and with men. Don’t be decieved, because there are many wild battles going on outside of your perception.

Jeremiah was told ‘they shall fight  against you – that was a fact. Yet, there was a counter guarantee:  ‘the only reason you will keep enjoying good success, with a table set before you in the midst of all the battles against you is because ‘the Lord is with you’.

Your best prayer is not to pray every situation away, but to secure the presence of God in every one of them. That is victory guaranteed.
