To remain NBM “
To the untrained eye, a few words are obvious and make sense, but for the rest, you need might need Dr Google. The text above is a use of pure medical jargon which some health professionals will have no problem interpreting. You could have a go at making sense of it without using the Internet, then perhaps attempt to understand it with some help.
The Gospel today, details the account between Peter, standing with Jesus, and the tribute collectors who had come to do their job. The son of God was not exempt. Jesus therefore, instructed Peter as follows:
"go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you "(Mt 17:27).
Peter asks no further questions. Because he was a trained fisherman, he understood and knew exactly what to do with what Jesus said. Had the same instruction been given to Matthew, who was a tax collector by trade, he would have said ‘I don’t understand’, and some clarification please: ‘Which part of the sea? ‘where do I find the hook? Would I need a boat? Wait, what bait should I use? Should I ask Peter and James to help me?
The intention of Jesus to remedy the situation would, therefore, have been delayed significantly as a result.
An unfruitful understanding in any matter, will always be a source of confusion, conflict and fruitlessness.
So when the need arises, find the help required to understand.
