1. Just because you are zealous about  changing something or someone, doesn’t mean you first have to become that. Simply, you cannot become a monster just to catch one because after that, what happens?

My mind was cast to the Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians ‘I make myself all things to all men that I may by all means win some for Christ (9:22). As much as it might literally suggest ‘becoming everything’, the crucial message was ‘with every person, I try to find common ground such that each person can relate to a part of my life which is traceable to Christ. So that through this, they may eventually find Christ.’

2. It is easy to judge when we only see certain facets in the lives of others. It therefore actually takes the God who sees us perfectly, to render fair and accurate judgement. However, we need to grow in patience and build tolerance. The latter, is your system of accommodation, bearing in mind that men are men.

This isn’t an invitation to settle for mediocrity, but here is some truth:

“even the best of men will still fall short. So have a system to accommodate some of those weaknesses, else you will remain forever disappointed.
