A PLAN UNFOLDING

DAY 191

Genesis 28:11 And he came to a certain place and stayed overnight there because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down there [to sleep].

That old man has a way to orchestrate our lives in such a manner that it feels scripted. Well, that is not far from the truth because the entirety of our lives unfolds according to a plan.

Jacob found himself where he was only because the sun had set while he journeyed and interestingly, in that location, there were stones to lay his head on as a pillow. In other words, he found himself in a location designed to cause him to have a restful sleep and to dream while he slept.

There are many situations in our lives we call ‘circumstancial’, but make no mistake, nothing happening in your life just happened. Where God is involved, you can even talk with greater certainty. He is a master craftsman and an excellent story teller – He wrote the script for the seasons, the budding of flowers, the bringing forth of life.

He knows exactly enough to write the script of where you need to be at every moment in time to collide with those who have a stake in the life He has given you. He knows where to position you so you encounter every single grace you require to advance. Like Jacob, even the sun can set so you pitch your tent.

You are not in a game of trial and error with GOD. “There is a clear plan unfolding for you.
