HAVE YOU LIVED FOR GOD?

Mark 11:30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

This question which Jesus asked, was one that prompted a mini discussion to determine the better answer. According to those who were asked this question, the better response was ‘we do not know’. Yet, from the same question, arises matters for our very own consideration: ‘from heaven or from man?

This is a question that can permeate every sphere of our lives: purpose, family, decisions, choices, etc. Think about it this way ‘are you living according to heaven’s blueprint or have men successfully forged your path through life?

It is worth noting that men are partners with God, but make no mistake, men can lead you miles out of the will of God, even with the best of intentions. It takes a discerning heart to read between the lines to identify what is from heaven and that which originates from the hearts of men. That distinction, could mark your ability to answer the question ‘have I lived for God?’
