DAY 108
John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Among the many things that continues to be fascinating is the very concept of ‘air’. Science has discovered that ‘air is a mixture containing several gases in different proportions. Even though it remains invisible to the naked eye, it’s absence becomes readily evident when life begins to fade.
Reading today’s text brought my mind to a quote I encountered a few years ago: “Just because you don’t see air doesn’t mean you stop breathing. Just because you don’t see God doesn’t mean you stop believing.”
Many times, God’s visible presence might appear absent in many of the circumstances of life we find ourselves in. The moments of lack, pain, disappointment, no clear directions or even in the seasons of God’s silence. The times when we can’t see Him moving.
In all these moments, our faith must remain firm. We keep believing because we know that even though we may not see, God stands by and with us through it all.
