DAY 102

Acts 3:9-10 Everyone saw him walking around and praising God. They knew he was the beggar who had been lying beside the Beautiful Gate, and they were completely surprised. They could not imagine what had happened to the man.
There are two places God makes men: in the secret, then in the open. Many are therefore shaped, formed, schooled and empowered in secret before they emerge in full view of the World. Much like what happens behind the scenes, in the womb, when a child is conceived.
In the open however, because many eyes are fully aware, and many avenues exist for thwarting, the wisdom of God goes on full display. When men are made in the open, their manifestation is often shrouded in pain, disappointments or confusion. The princes of this world are oblivious to what God desires to do when everything seems in tatters.
Interestingly, God does not let your disapointments happen in hiding. The man who lay at the gate beautiful was seen by multitudes who knew him solely as ‘a beggar’. God uses such open manifestations so that when such are made and lifted, men who saw their transitions, will become those who testify of what has happened. That adds another layer of authenticity to the workings of God in any life.
Let us therefore be mindful when we are tempted to mock and laugh at people who appear to be going through seasons of slow advance or are fighting many battles. You have no idea what God might be making out of their free-to-air stories.
