HOW REAL IS GOD TO YOU?

DAY 49

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Today, we read these words “
‘believing that He is’- Other translations use phrases such as ‘believe He exists’ and ‘believe that God is real’. The amplified version goes a step further to introduce an imperative “Whoever comes to God must necessarily believe that He is”.
So the question for you is ‘how real is God to you?’

It might seem an irrelevant question  but it is the bedrock of faith: To you, is God just a Spirit? A judge? A bearded old man dressed in white and sitting on a posh throne? How real is He to you? God is not an abstract concept, He is as real as can be and until this becomes our default state, it becomes difficult to come into that realm of intimacy in fellowship that ought to exist between man and God.
