John 1:48 How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”
We see the face of a confused Nathaniel who asked Jesus in the Gospel of today a rather simple question ‘How do you know me?
Within the pages of scripture, God answers this question to each of us on multiple occasions. He says:
Before you were formed, I knew you
I know you name, your frame and everything that concerns you.
I know about those weaknesses you try so hard to hide,
Those strengths you are yet to identify and
Those hidden potentials awaiting discovery.
If then He calls out the stars by name, why won’t He call you by name when we are the pinnacle of His creation?
Would He not be personally interested in your affairs and
Would He not be jealous over you?
How does God know you? He knows you through and through because He is the author of all life, including yours. So therefore don’t imagine that God is ignorant of what is going on with you because you will be pretty surprised to realise How much He knows and how involved He is in the whole picture of your life. Beloved, God knows you, He really does.
