WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO YOU?

There is an interesting thing about street hawking, the most popular items each season tend to always dominate the market. It is therefore very common to find an individual who has no specific niche:  they may be selling snacks this week, stationery the next and even toiletries the week that follows. They seem to be a jack of all trades.

We read today in Matthew 19:11

But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.'

Not everything is committed to everyone – not every sphere of influence falls under your jurisdiction. You will therefore not be master everywhere. Thus, you have to search for and find those areas in the Word of God where ‘it is written’  concerning you.

The Spirit of God is one of order- hence it requires the one who is aligned to discern and know the dimensions they are assigned to walk in. In other words, what has been committed to them in their own personal walk. No two journeys are the same regardless of how spiritually similar they may appear. Note this clarification lest you find yourself pursuing an experience that isn’t yours to seek.
